Basic editorial line (Blattlinie): Ghomrug is a specialist journal on the Persian carpet, with a focus on the silk carpets of Qom (Ghom). On the basis of museum holdings, the specialist literature and auction catalogues, it provides information on the history, provenance, design, technique, authenticity, care and collecting of Persian carpets. The journal sells nothing.
